Who We Serve

You build real thingsyour website should be generating real work.

81% of B2B buyers choose their preferred vendor before speaking to sales. We help manufacturers show up clearly in that research — and turn interest into buyer inquiries and quote requests.

Who We Are

Meet the Team

Jonathan and Lauren

If you need a growth partner who helps buyers discover and trust your shop — without building an in-house marketing department — you're in the right place. We're Jonathan and Lauren, the husband-and-wife team behind Seed Digital — and we work exclusively with manufacturers.

Jonathan

Lead Developer

Jonathan became a software engineer after years of working in government roles that left him feeling unchallenged and unfulfilled. Taking a leap into development changed everything—what once felt like routine work became meaningful, creative problem-solving. Today, he genuinely loves what he does and brings that energy into every project.

His background instilled in him a deep respect for efficiency, quality, and integrity — values that shape every website he builds for manufacturers. As lead developer, Jonathan oversees each project from start to finish, ensuring everything runs smoothly and meets a high standard of excellence.

Lauren

Design, copy & client care

Lauren has spent the past 10 years as a registered nurse, primarily in labor and delivery, while also serving in a variety of community settings both locally and abroad. Through these experiences, she's developed a strong passion for serving people with care, clarity, and excellence.

She understands how important your capabilities and reputation are, and she's committed to helping you communicate them clearly to buyers evaluating your shop. With experience in copywriting and a strong eye for detail and design, Lauren ensures your digital presence not only looks professional, but speaks the language of manufacturing — cohesive, credible, and easy to navigate. She manages client communication, scheduling, and supports both design and content across every project.

Together, Jonathan and Lauren are raising their two daughters, Mae and Margot. When they're not working or homeschooling, you'll likely find them exploring new trails, reading, camping, or spending time with friends and family. They're actively involved in their local Middle Tennessee community and serve manufacturers across the region and beyond.

They would be honored to come alongside you as you grow your shop — and help you build a digital presence that brings in the work you want.

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers for shop owners and ops leaders evaluating their next website move.

  • Understand inquiry impact
  • Compare package fit
  • Plan with confidence
01 Why does site speed matter for a manufacturing company?

Buyers comparing suppliers make quick judgments. Slow pages lose sourcing managers and engineers before they see your capabilities, certifications, or inquiry form — while fast load times keep attention on what actually wins work: clear specs, proof of quality, and an easy path to request a quote.

02 Will a stronger online presence actually bring in more buyer inquiries?

When buyers are shortlisting vendors, your site is often the first proof of credibility they see. Clear capabilities messaging, strong case examples, and a friction-free quote path typically improve inquiry volume and quality — especially from prospects who already found you through search, referrals, or trade shows.

03 How can one website change actually increase revenue?

The highest-impact upgrades usually come from reducing friction in the buyer journey: clearer capabilities pages, faster load times, stronger calls to action, and simpler contact flows. Even small improvements in conversion rate compound over time, which means the same traffic can generate more qualified quote requests without increasing ad spend.

04 What does a good manufacturing website actually need to do?

A strong site quickly answers what you make, who you serve, what tolerances and certifications you hold, and how to request a quote. It also needs dependable fundamentals: speed, mobile readiness (buyers review suppliers on the go), accessibility, and a structure your team can rely on long term.

05 How do you balance design quality with performance?

Design and performance are built together from day one: intentional motion, optimized media, selective scripts, and clean structure. If an effect slows load time or makes capabilities harder to scan, it gets simplified or removed — your site should feel premium without making engineers wait.

06 What is included for SEO, and what is ongoing?

Foundational SEO includes structure, metadata, headings, internal linking, and performance hygiene — the basics that help buyers find you when they search for your process, materials, or region. Ongoing SEO is iterative and content-driven, with visibility improving as you consistently publish relevant capabilities, case work, and location-focused pages — especially valuable for shops in rural and regional markets.

07 Will I be able to update the site myself after launch?

Our sites are custom builds — not a drag-and-drop dashboard you log into. Hosting is included, and post-launch updates go through at least the Tend care plan so changes are tested, backed up, and stay fast and on-brand. That keeps your site reliable without the layout or performance issues that often come from DIY edits on custom code. If you need a specific workflow discussed up front, we can plan for it during the project.

08 What happens after launch?

Launch is the starting line. Post-launch work focuses on monitoring, rapid fixes, and improvements guided by how buyers actually use your site — so inquiry paths stay smooth, pages stay fast, and your digital presence keeps supporting production growth.

09 How do we know if the website is working?

Success is defined up front through metrics that matter on the shop floor: qualified buyer inquiries, quote requests, contact form submissions, phone and email clicks, capabilities page engagement, and hiring inquiries. Performance is then tracked and refined so the site keeps improving — not just looking good.
